These banana chocolate chip cookies are extremely easy to make and only require a few ingredients that you can find in your pantry or easily at a local supermarket.

  • Ripe Bananas
  • Brown Sugar
  • White Sugar
  • Vegan Butter
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Salt
  • Vegan Chocolate Chips

How to make banana chocolate chip cookies?

The great thing about this recipe is its a mess-free one-bowl chocolate chip recipe.

  • You’ll start by creaming together your sugar, vegan butter, bananas, and vanilla extract.
  • Next, stir in your flour, baking powder, and salt. Make sure to mix everything just enough so it’s incorporated, but be careful not to over mix the dough.
  • Next, you’ll fold in your chocolate chips and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop 2 tbsp of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake your cookies for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. My oven required around 16 minutes for most of them.
  • Allow your cookies to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips

Instructions

  • First, cream together the vegan butter, bananas, sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy.
  • Next, stir in your flour, baking powder, and salt. Make sure to mix the mixture just until the flour is incorporated, don’t over mix the batter.
  • Next, fold in your chocolate chips and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop 2 tbsp worth of dough onto your prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake your cookies for 13-16 or until golden brown on the edges. (I preferred mine to be baked closer to 16 minutes.)
  • Allow your cookies to cool completely before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
